(1979 \- ) Jonas Corell Petersen is a Danish/Norwegian Playwright, director and dramaturg residing in Oslo, Norway.
He has written 5 plays since his debut: «Døde skygger/Dead shadows» (1999). Zoo (two different versions) 2012/13 Black Box Theater, Oslo and Teaterhuset Avantgarden, Trondhjem and The Norwegian Theater, Oslo. He was a resident playwright at Dramatikkens hus/The Norwegian Centre for Playwriting, 2016/17 and 2020/21. His plays «Chewing on the bones of time/Vi tygger på tidens knokler» (Nationatheatret, Oslo 2015) is translated into German and English. The world premiere was invited to the «Terrorisms» festival i Stuttgart 2016. A version for 4 women premiered at Staatstheater Cottbus 2020. «Island/ØY» (2016) also had its world premiere at Nationaltheatret. «Work in progress: Missed community» (2018) was written on commision from Nationaltheatret, Oslo for the Ibsenfestival. It is translated to English.
