Cecilie Løveid er en forfatter som bor og arbeider i Bergen. Løveids forfatterskap omfatter verker innenfor flere sjangre, som prosa, lyrikk og dramatikk, og hun har også undervist ved Skrivekunstakademiet. Hun utga sin første bok, romanen Most, i 1972 og som dramatiker debuterte hun ved Den Nationale Scene i 1983. I 1991 var hun festspilldikter under Festspillene i Bergen. Siste teaterarbeid er «Vår ære/vår» makt fra 2016, der hun sammen med regissør og dramatiker Tore Vagn Lid vant både Heddaprisen og Ibsenprisen. Løveids siste diktbok Vandreutstillinger fra 2017 ble belønnet med Brageprisen og Kritikerprisen.Cecilie Løveids oppføringsretigheter ligger hos Colombine Teaterförlag. Cecilie Løveid is a writer who lives and works in Bergen. Løveid’s works cover several genres such as prose, poetry and drama, and she has also taught at the Skrivekunstakademi (Norwegian Academy of Writing). She published her first book, the novel Most, in 1972 and as a dramatist made her debut at Den National Scene, Bergen, in 1983. In 1991 she was Festival Writer at the Bergen International Festival. Her last theatre work was “Vår ære/vår makt” (Our Honour/Our Power) from 2016, where along with the director and dramatist Tore Vagn Lid she won both the Hedda Prize and the Ibsen Award. Løveid’s most recent book of poetry Vandreutstillinger (Travelling Exhibitions) from 2017 was awarded the Brage Prize and the Critics’ Prize.
