(1969\-) Tale Næss writes for the stage, radio and film. She has also written for musical theatre , librettos and has worked in several interdisciplinary artistic constellations.
Næss debut was in 1992 with the novel "Månen har ikke hender" (“The moon has no hands”) at Gyldendal Norsk Forlag. Her debut as playwright was at Teater Ibsen i 1999 with a monologue for the project “De ti bud” (“The ten commandments”). Næss has a PhD in playwriting from Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She writes for radio, the stage, does installation work, and works for the web. She is a part of the stage collective STATEX and works as a curator of live stage laboratories under the heading ArtLab.
